CHCI Welcomes Three New Members: Xinghua Gao, Chreston Miller, Corinne Guimont

Chreston Miller

Chreston Miller is a Data and Informatics Consultant with VT Libraries. His interests are in data management, data analysis, and tools for working with data. He completed his PhD in CS/HCI at Virginia Tech.

Corinne Guimont

Corinne Guimont is a Digital Publishing Specialist in the library. She completed her MS degree in Library and Information Science from the Information School at the University of Michigan. She has broad interests in digital humanities.

Xinghua Gao is an Assistant Professor with the Myers-Lawson School of Construction at Virginia Tech. Xinghua received his PhD degree in Building Construction and MSc in Computational Science and Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. His research interests lie in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Internet of things (IoT)-enabled smart built environments that encompass automated data collection, analysis, and visualization for more efficient and effective construction and facilities management.
