In describing what she loves about her work she says, “I have a passion for digital art, specifically 3D modeling- where I am able to create worlds with just my fingertips.” Her artwork centers around the themes of youth and innocence through the use of playful colors and soft aesthetics. Katrina is currently working for the Virginia Tech Libraries as a 3D modeling assistant where she retopologizes models through Maya and Zbrush. Last summer she participated in the Brand X competition for Sephora where she designed and created a marketing campaign.

When talking about her experiences at Virginia Tech Katrina says, “What I love about the classes I've taken at Virginia Tech is the diversity. I was able to really explore my options in the art world to see which mediums best fit me. My professors have always been so helpful and supportive whenever I have questions or ask for help regarding my projects.” Her advisor is Tracey Drowne.
