CHCI Welcomes New Member: David Franusich

David J. Franusich

David Franusich is the Multimedia Designer with the Institute for Creativity, Arts, and Technology (ICAT). He manages collaborative research projects, supports multidisciplinary teams of students, faculty, and partner external organizations, conducts project-based technical consulting and content creation, acts as a liaison for ICAT with the Moss Arts Center as well as stakeholders in the Creativity + Innovation community to advance ICAT’s research, educational initiatives and public engagement activities.

Franusich is a co-founder of Downtown Christiansburg Incorporated, a community nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for and revitalizing downtown Christiansburg, VA. He has worked on branding and marketing, website management, community organizing, and event planning.

Franusich received a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Technologies from Virginia Tech during which time he worked as a graduate assistant for ICAT.
