CHCI Welcomes New Member: Dylan Losey

CHCI welcomes new member, Dylan Losey, assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He describes his research interests as, “My research focuses on human-robot interaction. I explore how robots can learn from humans, as well as how robots can reveal that learning back to the people around them. My team has recently leveraged augmented reality and haptic displays for communicating robot learning.” His research group, the Collaborative Robotics Lab (Collab), focuses on how robots acquire meaningful information from the people around them, as well as how these robots can seamlessly collaborate and close-the-loop during human-robot interaction.
