Mica Endsley, PhD, former US Air Force Chief Scientist, will give a talk at the joint Social Informatics and Immersive Experiences meeting this Friday, October 30th at 1 pm via zoom (please contact CHCI for zoom link). Dr. Endsley is the president and founder of SA Technologies, a leader in situation awareness research, design, training, modeling and measurement. She will talk with us about human-automation interaction and the challenge of maintaining situation awareness with technology (e.g., augmented reality, virtual reality, and autonomous vehicles).
