We are delighted that CS and CHCI alumnus Jason Snook will give the CS Graduate Seminar on Friday October 13 on ‘navigating artificial intelligence.’

Friday, October 13 (2:30-3:30 pm) in Torgersen 3100

Abstract: Ready or not, leaders are being asked to navigate their organizations through the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI) amidst the current buzz and hype. This talk will offer strategic insights into the evolving AI landscape, debunk common myths, and discover how to align existing organizational foundations with future AI opportunities. We’ll talk about developing a discerning lens for assessing AI claims and evaluate the potential risks associated with AI adoption. Finally, we’ll explore the nuanced realm of consumer sentiments surrounding AI, drawing upon recent empirical findings from a recent national survey conducted by CapTech. With plenty of time for questions and discussion, this should be a rich conversation about consumers, businesses, and the intersection of AI.
