Beyond Queen's Stomp-Stomp-Clap
Sang Won Lee, CHCI member active with both the Social Informatics and the Immersive Experiences research thrusts, and an Assistant Professor of Computer Science, finds that live social media has helped not only in engaging large audiences, but in sustaining that engagement in a live music performance. Engaging large numbers of people during a live performance like a concert — or a lecture — and channelling that energy for a sustained time period is the challenge that rock stars and professors alike know well.
