Celebrating Innovative Research at the 2025 CHCI Student Symposium

May 23, 2025

The 2025 CHCI Student Research Symposium, organized by the CHCI Student Council,  brought together an inspiring showcase of 25 posters highlighting the innovative and interdisciplinary work of our students. Held on Friday, April 18th, the event was attended by CHCI faculty, students, and community members who engaged in thoughtful discussion and celebrated the breadth of HCI research at Virginia Tech.

Attendees explored research spanning topics in human-computer interaction, AI, accessibility, design, and more. There was great energy in the room as students presented their work, fielded questions, and connected with fellow researchers and mentors. The event concluded with a short wrap-up session and awards ceremony.
